Sales Executive - Event Technology

A leading provider of Audio Visual Event Technology rental and staging services, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, polished and aggressive Sales Hunter to uncover and sell audio, video, lighting and virtual meeting solutions to convention, trade show and corporate meeting group customers to the New Jersey. New York and PA Tri-State Area.

This individual must possess a drive for success and a commanding sense of urgency, yet have a polished and professional approach in building long term, revenue-generating relationships.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must possess at least 6 years of overall outside sales experience with recent experience selling event technology products and solutions to convention, trade show and corporate meeting customers. 
  • Experience selling convention and corporate meeting rental products such as audio, video, lighting, information technology and virtual meeting event solutions to corporate meeting & event planners required.
  • Experience targeting, penetrating and selling directly into Corporate America in particular Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Professional Services, Banking, Associations, Non-Profits, as well as Educational Institutions is a must.
  • Strong prospecting sales skills to locate new business coupled with strong relationship skills to maintain and grow existing business.
  • Aggressive, action-oriented and results-oriented with strong verbal presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Demonstrated history of building long-term relationships, consistently meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.
  • Excellent account management skills with experience using CRM tools to document contacts, leads and opportunities.
  • A team player that works well in a collaborative and team focused environment.

This opportunity has a strong yearly salary with commission earning potentials at well over $200K plus on a yearly basis.
